Grampy, 11 months unemployed - the 1st time in 50 years eating all meals at home. He likes cooking "edible science experiments", but no paycheck means a small food budget. 6 grandchildren - a 19 year-old on his own for the 1st time; an 18 year-old new college student living and cooking with roommates; 2 15 year-olds, an 11 year old, an 8 year-old wanting to cook. All recipes will be inexpensive, fast, easy, with few ingredients, utensils, steps and as little cleanup as possible.
